The DisplayAway concept started with our love of family heirloom fabric works of art. An antique quilt, a coverlet, a Navaho
saddle blanket, a flag from WWI all had descended through our family for generations. We wanted to pull them out of the armoires
and linen closets and use them as art in our home. Not only would we be proud to display these family heirloom pieces, we
also thought it would give our children a sense of history and appreciation for our family heritage.
Soon began the challenge of how to hang these precious fabrics for beautiful display without harming them. We decided
we wouldn't settle for any of the other makeshift methods that compromised the beauty and longevity of the pieces. So Hal
Zeller, a custom furniture builder, set out to design and patent the DisplayAway -and we knew immediately it was the answer
so many other people were looking for. We continue to receive rave reviews about the revolutionary displaying system that
is claimed to be "fabric friendly" and works "like magic"! DisplayAway has become the recommended way
to display as it is featured on HGTV, PBS quilting shows, and countless magazines and newspapers.
What started as a love and appreciation for family fabric art pieces has grown into a wonderful business. You can now
find DisplayAway in many homes, businesses, libraries and museums all over the world. Our hope is that you will use DisplayAway
to showcase all your favorite fabric artworks for generations to come.
